Oracle has announced an important change for Fusion SCM Analytics customers regarding the SCM – Inventory Receipts subject area. If your reports or dashboards rely on this subject area, you’ll want to read on and take action.
🔎 What’s Changing?
The SCM – Inventory Receipts subject area, which currently provides information on:
RMA (Return Material Authorization)
Transfer Orders
In-Transit Inter-Organization Shipments
…is being deprecated.

✅ Why the Deprecation?
Oracle has redesigned this subject area to deliver more robust and integrated insights. The new version:
Incorporates data from all sources of receipts, including in-transit and inter-org shipments.
Enhances consistency across RMA, Transfer Orders, and related metrics.
This redesigned capability is now available once you enable the “Inventory Receipts” opt-in feature from the Enable Features console and activate the Receiving Functional Area in Data Configuration.
📌 What You Need to Do
Oracle will stop populating tables in the existing subject area in an upcoming release. Once that happens, your reports could show erroneous or missing data. To prepare:
Enable the Inventory Receipts functional area in Generally Available features.

Update your reports:
Remove existing Lot and Serial columns, as well as Metrics from Facts – Inventory Receipts.
Re-add them from the updated folders.
Review customizations involving Lot, Serial, and Metrics, and update where needed.
Validate your reports and migrate changes to higher environments.
👉 If you’ve already migrated to the new Inventory Receipts opt-in, no further action is required.
